Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics, ad pixels or tracking IDs. If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) are kept in your browser's sessionStorage for that tab only, so we can count which campaign a click came from. They're deleted when you close the tab. If the link has a Google Ads click ID (gclid), we only note that one was present; we never store or pass on the ID itself.

Counters

We count page views, button clicks, scans, signups and form sends per day, with the campaign tag and page. These are totals only, with no personal data.

Abuse protection

To rate-limit forms and scans we keep a hash of your IP address mixed with a secret that changes daily, for at most a day. The raw IP address isn't stored.

SEO checker

When you run a check, we fetch public pages of the store you entered and store the store's domain, the score and a timestamp, so we can count scans. We also keep a copy of the report (public check results only, no personal data) so the report link works. Reports are deleted after 30 days.

Waitlists

If you join a waitlist we store your email address, which list you joined, anything optional you entered (for example your current bundles app or store URL) and the campaign tag. We use it only to email you about that product, and delete it when you unsubscribe or ask us to.

Contact form

If you send a message we store your email, name, topic, order reference (if given) and message, so we can reply by email. We delete messages within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.

Feedback form

If you send product feedback, it's stored as pending and isn't shown on this site. We'd only ever publish it with your explicit permission, under the display name you chose, and we never edit what you wrote into something you didn't say.

Setup service quote requests

If you request a quote for a setup service, we store your email address and your answers so we can reply by email. We delete them 90 days after the job ends, or straight away if you ask.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Payhip (with PayPal or card payment through their processors). We never see your card details. Payhip shares your email and order details with us so we can deliver the product and give support.

Where data lives

On Cloudflare (Workers and D1 database), our hosting provider. You can ask for a copy or deletion of your data through the contact form (or labourchef@gmail.com). This note is intended to meet the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. If you're in the EU, UK or Australia, you have similar rights to access and deletion.
